5 Extra Ways We Help
Use our 'donate now' 'donate to our project' plug in's on your website to increase traffic for your projects and events.
Offer your supporters the chance to send a gift to friends in support of your charity.
Help attract volunteers (video is a great way of giving volunteers a sense of what they're getting involved with).
Benefit fro See The Difference's commercial partnerships and special events, all designed to make giving more fun and raise more money. For example, we provide music for your films for free thanks to your partnership with Audio Network.
Save money by letting us do the admin and the tech stuff for you; hosting video, collecting donations electronically, re-claiming gift aid, keeping supporters up to date, worrying about those pesky facebook plugins which keep changing.
More about Projects
Before you get started, make sure you're registered with our processing partners, VMG.
Then use 'pitch my story' to sharpen your project idea. Aim for differences under £25, aim to raise up to £3k for your first project. Make it relevant to an 18-45 audience and think how you can show givers the difference they made.
Charities listing projects on See The Difference guarentee to post feedback on the progress of a project for givers, either shortly after the target is reached, or within 6 months of the project being listed.
In the rare circumstances a project can't happen (for example this project got sidetracked by civil war breaking out) charities should offer givers the chance to move their donation to a new project of their choice.
Listing a project on See The Difference means you're committing to spending the money on that project (and we audit projects from time to time).
The Money Stuff
We automatically ask givers if they want to add gift aid and the good news is that over 90% do, so their donation to you gets 25% bigger with no paperwork for you to fill in.
Donations are transferred weekly to you and our processing partner VMG provide you with comprehensive reporting, so you can keep track.
Our processing partner VMG charges a fee of 2% of donation, which is deducted from the monies sent to you weekly.
See The Difference charges a small fee any extra services we provide, which varies depending on what support you need from us and will be agreed in advance with you.
