Our charities
See The Difference sets out to make giving more rewarding for the under 50's "next generation" and to stimulate a regular giving habit. Extensive research shows the most important need givers have is to know where their money went and that it made a difference. To actually "See The Difference" if you like.
Launching in Spring 2010, See The Difference's new website is a cost effective way for your charity to tell compelling stories about the amazing work you do, raise money, connect closely with a new generation of givers and stimulate support for the great work your charity does.
Developed over the last two years with support from over 100 charities, See The Difference has been designed to be easy to use and efficient. We currently offer all charities free training, mentoring and dedicated producers to guide you through the whole process so you can tell the best possible stories about your charity.
We run briefings online and at our London office every week. Email change@seethedifference.org, or call us to book a place or have a chat on : 0207 600 3798

HOW WE HELPED ACE AFRICA MAKE THEIR FIRST FILM
" We can't do it, we're a small charity, we don't have the resources". A common cry, and here's a great example of what can be done. Ace Africa only has one person in the UK and operates on a very local scale in Africa. They borrowed a camera from a neighbouring village, downloaded film to the UK, and edited it. Children who would never had a voice before can now be heard across the globe.

WHAT CAN WE MAKE A FILM ABOUT?
In short, absolutely anything you spend money on. You could even ask for money for a new administrator and make a film about their working day. You just need to be specific.
Avoid asking for "some money for us, as we do great work" and start thinking about "£1,000 funds Iris for a month", "£200 will buy a days session at our clinic", "With £50 we can buy another food parcel" etc.
Once you have a specific project, with a specific cost, let your creativity run riot.
