Dear Chris, Michael, Bernadette and Janet,

Thanks to you, and a few other supporters, we've been able to fund a holiday for the family of a blind child at the lovely Bradbury Hotel in West Sussex this summer.

As a specialist hotel for blind and partially sighted guests, the Bradbury Hotel has been furnished and decorated with colour contrasts, ease of use and glare reduction in mind. Bedrooms are equipped with easy-to-use TVs, liquid level indicators, talking clocks, touch lamps, easy turn taps with hot water temperature regulators and audio described CDs/DVDs. Each evening, entertainment is provided by professionals, or by our team hosting games, quizzes or bingo.

But to give you a flavour of what it means, we thought the last word should go to one of the families:

"To spend a week with other families who have children with similar disabilities was wonderful, both for us and the children. The services provided at the hotel were excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly. It really did feel like holidaying with family - but much better."
