How do I do that?

Once a trafficked woman has been freed, the team at unseen(uk) provide them with a safe haven where they can start to regain their dignity and self worth- and often this starts with the simplest of things, like a bag of toiletries.

What does it cost?

For just £23 we can provide a trafficked woman with a bag of basic toiletries (deodorant, sanitary products, toothbrush, toothpaste, flannel, moisturiser, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel).

When will I see the difference?

Our aim is the raise enough to give bags of toiletries to another 85 women (85 x £23 =£1955) - we'll let you know by the end of the Summer if we've reached our target.

The UK is a major destination for trafficked women. Recently the Home Affairs Select Committee produced a report on traficking "The Trade in Human Beings: Human Trafficking in the UK" stating that at a conservative estimate there are at least 5,000 trafficking survivors in the UK.

unseen(uk) provideds female survivors of trafficking with places of safety where they can start making positive decisions about their future. Our aftercare programmes allow women to access a range of services to assist them on this journey.
