How do I do that?

At our Night Centre in Westminster we not only provide dinner, bed and breakfast to vulnerable homeless people but we also give them on-site access to a range of services including our specialist Advice & Housing team who can assess an individual’s housing needs with a view to finding a longer term solution, sometimes as quickly as the next day. The Night Centre also offers people the chance to have a shower, wash their clothes and access computers.

What does it cost?

One night’s stay costs £34 which includes a shower, laundry service, dinner, breakfast, referral to our Advice & Housing team and access to other support services – all under one roof.

When will I see the difference?

When we’ve raised enough to provide 60 vulnerable homeless people with a night in our Night Centre and the opportunity to change their lives (£2040).

The Connection at St Martin’s Night Centre provides essential emergency accommodation to rough sleepers who are at risk. We’re also working in conjunction with the Government’s ‘No Second Night Out’ scheme to help prevent newly arrived rough sleepers from becoming entrenched on the streets of London. The Connection is unique in being able to provide integrated services under one roof. Once a rough sleeper is referred to our Night Centre we can ensure that they access the right services so that they can start rebuilding their lives away from the streets. Our comprehensive services include Advice & Housing, Employment & Training, Outreach, Day Centre, Activity Workshops and Substance Misuse and Mental Health Support.
