Mobile conservation training in Sumatra

Follow the OranguVans

Many communities living near forests in Sumatra don’t know the importance of conservation. Equipped with a mobile environmental library and conservation cinema, our OranguVans travel around the island to teach locals about the forest, and the impact of deforestation on Orangutans and people.

Our vans certainly go the distance – just one of them clocked up 45 villages and 200 schools in the last three years, meeting 13,000 children and 5,500 locals along the way!

£15,000 will pay for another fully-fitted OranguVan, and help us reach even more communities.

You'll See The Difference...

As soon as we’ve raised enough to buy and kit out the van, we’ll send you some photos. And after 3 months on the road, we’ll send you a map and more photos of where it’s travelled to.

If you ever see orangutans in the wild you will be amazed by them. Support the programme and give yourself a chance
