There’s more than one way to fix unfairness in a world where a billion people live without clean water and where 80 million children are unable to go to school. From saving lives and developing projects that put poor people in charge of their lives and livelihoods, to campaigning for change that lasts. That’s Oxfam in action.

And why do we do it? Belief. Belief that in a wealthy world poverty is unjustifiable and can be prevented. Belief that injustice must be challenged. And belief that with the right help, poor people themselves can change their lives for the better, for good.
