About the charity

The Multiple Sclerosis Trust is a small national charity which improves the lives of the 100,000 people with MS in the UK.

We believe that with access to the right information and support individuals and families affected by MS can live life to the full. That is why our free publications deal with issues like staying in work, dealing with fatigue and exercises to reduce and ease the physical effects of MS.

We help people with MS and their families and friends by running a personal enquiry service and by providing independent information, books, factsheets and newsletters.

We fund research that concentrates on living better with MS - research which brings essential therapies to people who have to cope with MS every day or which shows how better services can be provided.

We also run education courses for health professionals and campaign at a local and strategic level for people with MS to have access to specialist health professionals and to the services they need.
