How do I do that?

The Hope Foundation sets out every day to rescue the most needy children on the streets of Kolkata. Our Nightwatch team travel around in an ambulance offering medical aid to the street children - help us ensure it is well-maintained, well-stocked and on the streets helping people.

What does it cost?

It costs £12,000 to maintain our ambulance, buy new equipment and pay the medical social services staff.

When will I see the difference?

The Hope Foundation are now putting together the feedback to show you the difference your money has made so we'll be bringing you another 'success story' very soon!

Over 250,000 children eat, sleep and live on the streets. Our nightwatch offers everything from counselling and emergency medical treatment to entry to our hospital or one of our residential homes.

The ambulance is out every single night of the year and has two fully-qualified medical staff on board. The number of children we treat varies each night, but we can treat most conditions onboard.

News reporter Andrea Catherwood stayed with our Ambulance Nightwatch and although it was heart-breaking to see the children on the streets, she could see our Nightwatch was invaluable on the streets of Kolkata. Please help and we will be able to keep our Nightwatch team going.
