Give a disadvantaged kid access to sport and the arts
GIVE A DISADVANTAGED KID ACCESS TO SPORT AND THE ARTSHow do I do that?By giving a disadvantaged young person the chance to attend one of our structured sports and performing arts programmes during the school week. What does it cost?£20 will give another child a place on a sport or arts programme for a month (this also includes breakfast, lunch and after-school clubs, weekend trips, tournaments and performances and holiday activities). When will I see the difference? When we've raised enough for 50 children to have a place on the programme (£1,000). What will I see? Some of the children you helped will write and tell you what activity they are studying.
Tell me more...We empower young people from disadvantaged backgrounds or with special needs, using sport and the performing arts. Our projects encourage them to overcome adversity and achieve their goals, improving behaviour and attitudes and developing positive life skills. Our programmes are based in schools and community clubs all over London. Find out what links force of nature and cycle fanatic Danny Bent and this project ... in our blog |
