Zulu community water project

Providing clean water

Show more projects in:

Help transform clean water supplies in villages in Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa and ignite the aspirations of a team of young people from the UK’s inner cities at the same time.

As one component of its year long programme clouddog builds teams of 12 volunteers to travel to South Africa to work alongside locals to provide clean water supplies to their villages.

This component of the clouddog experience gives the volunteers a meaningful way of contributing first-hand to communities and environments in other parts of the world. While working within other cultures, the volunteers also learn about themselves and witness the impact their contribution can make.

We’d like to raise enough for six volunteers. £300 will pay for one place.

You'll See The Difference...

In November, volunteers supported by your donations will let you know about their activities and the villages they have helped.

Being South African and going on summer holidays in the Zulu-dominant area of Natal, one of the few Zulu words I remember from childhood is that for water - there's either too much or too little, and clean water is never taken for granted. This is an incredible project and worth lots of support.

This is a truly inspiring project - and I'd never have heard of clouddog if it weren't for See the Difference.
