About the charity

Bath Cats and Dogs Home is a registered charity based at Claverton Down, near the University of Bath. We are one of the largest re-homing centres in the UK with over 3,000 unwanted cats, dogs and small animals relying upon us every year.  We pride ourselves on our strict non-destruction policy and aim to find every single animal a new loving home, no matter how long this may take. At any one time we have approximately 130 dogs, 100 cats, 30 feral cats and a variety of small animals in our care. Although affiliated to the national RSPCA, we do not receive financial support from them towards our general running costs. We therefore rely upon adoption fees, legacies, charitable trusts, donations and fundraising events to enable us to continue our important work.
