How do I do that?

By paying for treatment to cure children of jiggers - a tiny flea that burrows into kids' feet and if left untreated can stop them from walking.

What does it cost?

It costs just £1 to treat a foot.

When will I see the difference?

When we have raised enough to treat 4000 feet.

What will I see?

Jiggers fleas may be tiny, but don’t be fooled by the size – once they burrow into children’s feet, they wreak huge consequences. Left untreated, they cause pus-filled sores, itchiness, disabling pain, inflammation, ulceration, gangrene, sepsis, auto-amputation, even typhoid and death. The good news is the cost of treatment is also minute – a measly £1 a foot.

Doctor Moses doesn’t need any high tech equipment, just needles, disinfectant, painkillers and a lot of patience.  His team meticulously remove the fleas, and educate children how to avoid re-infection.
